KinderKickIts coaching staff is led by Mr. Ronald Maierhofer, KinderKickIts creator.  Coach Ron, a resident of Alexandria, Virginia, founded KinderKickIt in 2005. 

Coach Maierhofer is nationally licensed by the United States Soccer Federation and is recognized as a Soccer educator.   A successful author, he has published over fifty articles about youth soccer.  He is also President of the Kingstowne Soccer Association.

Coach Maierhofer has spent a lifetime training and coaching children of all ages. He played college soccer at Cornell University where he became an all American player and current member of the Cornell Sports Hall of Fame.  He was selected for the USA Pan-American-Olympic Team in 1959-60, which won a bronze medal in the 1959 Pan American Games. 

He has been one of the early founders of competitive youth soccer in the states of Texas and Colorado, and is a former Director of Travel Coach Training for Colorado.  Coach Ron is a former owner of the professional team, the Denver Avalanche, which was a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League.  Coach Maierhofer has been a member of the National Soccer Coaches of America since 1978.

Mr. Maierhofer has authored training manual for youth of all ages and has coached all genders and skill at the recreational, competitive, elementary and high school levels.
